Vijaya Bank is a leading public sector bank. At present it needs some professionals for the post of Specialist Officer / Generalist Officer. So, applications are being invited from Indian Citizens candidates for recruitment on the posts of Chief Manager (Scale IV), Senior Manager (scale III) and Manager (scale II) in the following sections. For this recruitment online registration will be started from 22nd November 2011. Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria of the recruitment may apply through online process only upto 14th December 2011.

Name of the post: Specialist / Generalist Officer
Total number of vacancy: 819
Category wise vacancy: 129 for SC, 75 for ST, 237 for OBC and 378 for General category candidates. (28 for PWD candidates in which 10 for OC, 10 for HI and 08 for VC)
Nationality: Only Indian Citizens are eligible to apply for the post.
1. Chief Manager (Scale: IV) in the following sections:
Company Secretary, Credit, Domestic Dealer, Forex Dealer, Forex and Personnel.
Number of vacant posts: 14 in which 03 for SC, 01 for ST, 06 for OBC and 04 for General candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs. 30600-36200/-
Minimum Educational Qualifications and experience: Candidates should be FCS/ACS for Company Secretary and either Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline or CA/CWA or MBA in finance for remaining sections.The candidates must have at least 05 years of experience in the relevant field.
Age: between 21 years and 40 years.
2. Senior Manager (Scale: III) in the mentioned below sections:
Forex, Domestic Dealer, Forex Dealer, Credit, Risk Management, Personnel, Credit Faculty, IT Programming and General Banking.
Total no. of vacant posts: 371 (SC-54, ST-31, OBC-105 and UR-181), 13 for PH candidates.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 25700-31500/-
Limit of age: minimum 21 years and maximum 37 years for all sections except IT Programming (35 years) and General Banking (40 years).
Essential qualifications and experience: Candidates having Bachelor Degree with CAIIB or CA/CWA or MBA in finance are eligible for Senior Manager in above said sections except Personnel (MBA/MSW), IT Programming (MCA/B.Tech. / B.E. in relevant discipline) and Credit Faculty (Master Degree with CAIIB). The candidates must have minimum 04 years of relevant experience.
3. Manager (Scale: II) in the given sections:
Forex, Credit/Financial/Analyst, Economist, Law, Personnel, IT Information Security, IT Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Management System, IT Programming, DBA, IT System Administration, Public Relations, Security, Fire & Safety, Merchant Banking and General Banking.
4. Technical Officer – Engineer (Scale: II) in the following department viz. Industrial Production / Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
Total no. of vacant seats for Manager and Technical Officer: 434 in which 72 for SC, 43 for ST, 126 for OBC and 193 for UR. (15 for PH candidates).
Pay Scale: Rs. 19400-28100/-
Age limit: Candidates age should be not less than 21 years and not above than 35 years for Forex, Credit/Financial/Analyst, Economist, Law, Personnel, Engineer,Fire & Safety, Merchant Banking, General Banking sections, 30 years for IT Information Security, IT Network Engineering, IT Infrastructure & Enterprise Management System, IT Programming, DBA, IT System Administration, Public Relations and 45 years for Security sections.
Required essential educational qualifications and experience: Either Graduation Degree with JAIIB or CA/CWA or MBA in finance for all sections exclude Economist (Master Degree in relevant field with knowledge of econometrics, statistics and analytical forecasting techniques), Law (BL/LLB), Personnel (MBA/MSW), IT Security, IT Programming (MCA/BE/B.Tech. in relevant field with certificate of information systems), IT System Administration (BE), Public relations (Post Graduation), Security (an officer with 05 years commissioned service). At least 02 years of relevant experience is essential for the post of Manager.
i) Knowledge of computer is essential for all above said posts.
ii) The candidates must possess the relevant educational qualifications and experience as on 22nd November 2011. Age limit should be also as on the same date.
Selection process: Interview based.
Fees of application: Rs. 300/- for General, OBC and EXS candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH candidates.
