A CMS Exam is going to be organized by UPSC on 17/06/2012. The Exam will be conducted for the recruitment to the service / posts at different places in all over the country. There are 702 vacancies to be filled up through qualified candidates in CMS Examination 2012. Candidates below 32 years of age as on 01/01/2012 and have qualified in Final MBBS Examination may apply for CMS Exam 2012. Online application for this examination will be filled up by 23/04/2012 till 11.59 pm. 1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer (Railways): 250
2. Asst. Medical Officer (Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service): 66
3. Jr. Scale Posts in Central Health Service: 150
4. Medical Officers (Municipal Corporation Delhi): 204
5. GD Medical Officer (New Delhi Municipal Council): 32
Age Limit: They must be below 32 years of age as on 01/01/2012. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST is 5 years and for OBC is 3 years
Qualifications: Only those candidates are eligible for CMS Exam 2012 who have completed both parts (Written & Practical) of Final MBBS Examination. Those candidates may also apply for this examination who have appeared or have to appear for Final MBBS Examination.
Exam Pattern: The Written Examination will be of 500 Marks. It Consists of Two Papers and each paper carries 250 marks. Time Duration of 2 hours has been stipulated for each paper. The Written Test (Paper-I) will be based on General Ability, General Medicine and Paediatrics and Paper-II will be based on Surgery, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Preventive and Social Medicine.
Application Fees: Candidates are required to pay of Rs.100 to any SBI Branch in Cash or thorough net banking or Credit / Debit Card. Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PWD Categories and all Female Candidate are exempted from application fees
How to apply: Online application for CMS Examination 2012 can be made through the website www.upsconline.nic.in till 23/04/2012. Visit the Website, Click on “Online Application for Various Examination of UPSC”, Now Click on “Part-I Registration” of CMS Examination 2012, Fill up with required details and submit. After completion of Part-I Registration, a Registration Number Will be generated by the System. Now click Part-II Registration, Enter Registration Number and Date of Birth and submit. Upload Photograph and Signature, Enter Payment Details fill up remaining columns and submit
