RECRUITMENT FOR THE DEPUTY AND ASSISTANT IN TNPSC 2010
Nadu Public Service Commission ( TNPSC) has published the advertisement for the post of Deputy collector, Deputy Superintendent of police , Assistant Commissioner, District Register, Assistant Director of Rural Development Department , Divisional Officer. The Recruitment is recruited on 28/01/2010. This is the Direct Recruitment for all the posts.

Payment scale:- RS 15600-39100 + Grade Pay – RS 5400(PB3)
Age Limitation:- Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years for SC/ST and 30 years for the general
Educational qualification:- candidates for the all posts must require a degree or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution
Physical qualification:- for the Deputy Superintendent of Police ( Category- 1)
For men– Height- 165 cms , chest- 86 cms, expression of chest – 5 cms
For women– Heights 155 cms
For Divisional Officer in the fire and Rescue Services–
For men:- Heights- 165 cms, chest- 86 cms, expression of chest – 5 cms,
For women:– Height- 155 cms
Selection Procedure:- The candidates will be selected after succeed in the stages first Preliminary Examination for admission in final written examination , secoond final written examination and third Personal Interview.
The marks obtained in the Preliminary examination will not be counted in the marks of final examination it is only for facing the final examination. The number of candidates to be admitted to the main written examination will be 20 times
The number of candidates to be recruited having regard to the rule of reservation of appointment However , in each reservation group all the candidates , who secure the same marks as that of the cut off marks of the reservation groups will also be admitted to the main written examination
The question of main examination will be set in English and Tamil.
Main examination will be held in Chennai.
.Examination fee:- For Preliminary Examination postal receipt Rs 75/- and For main Examination Postal receipt Rs 125 /–
The examination fee for the preliminary Examination will be paid only through the any of the post offices and The examination fee for the Main Examination will be paid to those who is selected for the main examination on receipt information from the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission .
Documents:– The candidates required to send attested copies of the educational certificate along with the application form and Postal receipt of Rs 75/- and please don’t send original certificate

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission was established in 1923 and now it completed the 75 years of their establishment. It is largely producing public service commission of the recruitment. The thought of the TNPSC is admirable by the all public service commission . The Government of Madras set up the TNPSC it self not by the help of the other public service commission. The madras service commission come under the madras Legislature in 1929. It is the first service commission in India by madras presidency. It is started with the three members with the chairman. After the division of the madras in 1957 The madras service commission become the madras public service commission. And its headquarter was in the madras. When the name of the madras changed into the Tamil Nadu then the madras public service commission became Tamil Nadu Public Service commission in 1979.
