Staff Selection Commission (SSC) against Advt. No. 05/2011 for the post of Junior Technical Assistant and Advt. No. 06/2011 for the Post of Draftsman, is going to conduct a Common Screening Test (Written Test) on 26/02/2012 (Sunday) at Allahabad, Bangalore, Delhi and Kolkata. Those candidates who are preparing for this Common Screening Test (Written Test) must go through the exam pattern which is being described below.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern: Eligible candidates whose applications for the post of Junior Technical Assistant and Draftsman have been received successfully by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on time will be called for written test on 26/02/2012. After qualifying in this test with minimum qualifying marks will be short listed according to their marks obtained in written test and only short listed candidates will be eligible for appearing in the interview. Well, Final selection of the candidates on the above mentioned post will be done on the basis of secured marks in written test performance in interview
Written Test: The Common Screening Test will be Objective Type of 200 marks Comprised of Four Test Papers i.e. I. General Intelligence, II. English Langue, III. Quantitative Aptitude and VI. General Awareness. Each Test paper carries 50 Marks. Total time of 2 Hours has been fixed for this test. It will start from 10 am and will be continued upto 12 pm.

• The Written Test carries negative marking i.e. 0.25 marks for each wrong answer will be deducted. So, candidates must be carefully while answering the questions
• Admit Card for Written test will be issued by post by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) but those who do not received their admit card for written test on appropriate time may download the same trough the website www.sscer.org at least 7 days before from the Common Screening Test
