SOLUTION OF TROUBLE IN UNDERSTANDING CBSE 10TH RESULTS

CBSE 10th result has been published. This is the first time, when grading system is applied. To lessen stress level of students and make study more easy and interesting this procedure is applied. In this system grade point is given to students instead of marks.

This system is like this: –

 GRADE GRADE POINT MARKS OBTAINED A1 10 91 – 100 A2 9 81 – 90 B1 8 71 – 80 B2 7 61 – 70 C1 6 51 – 60 C2 5 41 – 50 D1 4 31 – 40 D2 3 21 – 30 E1 2 11 – 20 E2 1 1 – 10

Total grade points are calculated on the base of grade point obtained in each subject. In this system, no one will fail. One, who score E1 OR E2 grade, he will get 5 chances to come in upper grade.

If a student obtains marks like this: –

 SUBJECT GRADE GRADE POINT Hindi A1 10 English B1 8 Mathematics A2 9 Science B1 8 Social Science. B2 7 Total A2 8.4

Then, total grade point is calculated is as follow: –

Total grade points = total of grade points obtained in each subject multiplied by 10 divided by 50.
