Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) is involved in recruitment of Children Development Project Officer (CDPO). In this regard, A Written Exam will be conducted. This examination will comprise one paper. In this paper there will be two parts and 100 questions all together. In part I there will be 70 questions and 30 questions in part II. All questions will be objective type and mutiple choice and carry equal marks. Standard of question will be Graduation level.There will be no any negative marking for wrong answer. No. of questions will be divided in many parts as given below –
Part I – General Questions (Total 70 questions) In which will there will be questions on following subject-
Administrative ability – 05 question.
Scientific facts knowledge in respect of information technology, environment, scientific phenomenon, telecommunication etc – 10 questions.
Initial awareness of Social Sciences – 20 questions.
General awareness, Basic knowledge of India/ Punjab/World such as longest, tallest, capitals, currencies, agriculture, mineral wealth, Politics, sports and trades etc – 15 questions
National and International current events – 10 questions
General Basic English- 10 Questions
Part II – In this part of test there will be 30 Specific Question based on following subjects-
there will be 8 sub part of this part II which is as following – Social work, sociology, Anthropology, child development, Nutrition, Philosophy, Psychology and Economics.
