1. Mahavir Mandir
This is the most famous temple of Patna. This is a sacred place related to Hindu religion. God Hanuman, who has many supernatural powers, is worshipped here. It can always be seen that a large number of people are standing in queue to worship the ditties. Here are also attractivestatues of many other Gods and Goddesses. This is situated in front of Patna junction. The building of this temple is very attractive and huge.
In north india it is on 2nd position after Vashno Devi temple in respect to expediture in making the building of the temple.
2. Sanjay Gandhi zoological garden
This is a beautiful place to tour. Various types of animals and birds are kept. Here is also beautiful garden. This is a very big zoo.

4. Indira Gandhi planetarium
One can enjoy film on astronomical objects in a grand A.C. hall on roof curtain. This is another attraction of Patna. Ultramodern scientific instruments are used in this. This is the largest planetarium of Asia.
5. Harmandir Sahib: –
It is a very famous sikh shrine. It was one of the most revered Gurudwara in India. It was constructed in 1837 by Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
Tenth guru of Sikhs Guru Govind Singh was born here. It is situated in Patna city. People from very distant part of India and abroad come here.
6. The Patna Museum
In this museum gallery of numismatics, natural history, geology and ammunition is present. Here is also a relic room. In archeological section, here is Mohenjo-Daro vand Mauryan collection. It has collections of a two million year old tree fossils and Didarganj Yakshini.
7. Martyrs’ memorial
It is a memorial regarding to seven students of Bihar who marched forward to hoist the tri-colored national flag on the Bihar assembly building during the Quit India Movement 1942.
Ultimately they succeded in hoisting the flag, but they have to lost their lives at the same time by British policeman bullets. Here is statue of all students falling one upon others. This is situated in front of the gate of Patna Legislative Assembly.
8. Patan Devi mandir
It is situated in Agamkuan muhalla. Here are two temples of Goddess Shakti, Badi Patandevi and chhoti Patandevi. People throng these temples to worship the ditties.
9. Khuda Bakhsha oriental library
This is a most famous library of Patna. Here rare collection of Persian and Arabic manuscript on Islamic philosophy and culture. Research scholars from all over India and abroad come here to make a study of its precious manuscript.
10. Padari ki haweli
It is a famous Christian shrine. Many people related to this religion visit here often. Mother Teresa (Nobel Prize holder) had also visited here.
This is an important place belonging to ancient history. Here is the historical evidence of fort of King Chandragupta Maurya. It is also siteof ruins of emperor Ashoka Old name of Patna was Patliputra. It was the capital of King Chandragupta Maurya. In Kumhrar there was fort of king. An 80pillars big hall is excavated. Really this is a beautiful place to visit in Patna.
