Khandala is a charming hill resort near Mumbai in Maharashtra. It is at a distance of just 5 kms from Lonavala, which is also well known for its natural beauty. Here are also rock-cut temples related to Lord Buddhha are present. These temples are one of the earliest and finest rock cut temples of Buddhism. These rock cut cave temples are of second century B.C.
