Inland Waterways Authority of India(IWAI) has published the recruitment for the Indian citizen for the post of Jr. Hydrographic Surveyor, Accountants Assistant, Hindi Typist and  Storekeeper. the current time the office of the ICWA is in Patna, Kochi, Kolkata, Guwahati, Varanasi, Bhagalpur, Allahabad and Farakka. 3 Storekeeper(UR-01) RS 5200-20,200 plus GP RS 2400/- per month 25 years Pass the 10th examination with 5 years experience or Degree from recognized university and Knowledge of Accountanacy Book-keeping and Typewritting.
4 Hindi Typist RS 5200/- – 20,000/0 plus GP 1900/- per month 25 years 10th pass from government school and Typing speed 30 w.p.m in English and 25 w.p.m in Hindi.

About the IWAI

The Inland Waterway Authority of India was established on 27th October 1986.Now the Vice Chair man of he IWAI is Shri Sunil Kumar.It come into the existence for he development and regulation of inland waterways for the shipping and navigation. The Head Office of the IWT is at Noida. As we know that a lots of part of India are under the water effected. a lot of rivers are in India. The IWAI has established in view for the development of the ways from the rivers, canals , etc. This is an organization that was conducted by the Indian Government. There are many region office of he this organization such as in Patna, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Kochi. and many sub office at Allahabad, Varanasi, Bhaglapur, Farakka and Kollam. There are many problem arises due to the water. and some time create many difficulties . So this organization will fulfill the pain by using it in good ways. There are many officer working for the development of this organization. India has about 14, 500 km of navigable waterways which comprises of rivers, canalsm bachwaters, creeks, etc. About 55 million tones of cargo is being moved annually by Inland Water Transport. Due to the Transport through the water way there are no any problem of the pollution . This organization is now working in the river Ganga-Bhaagirathi-Hooghly .
