Considered in Mini Ratna of Govt. of India, Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) has announced recruitment process for opting eligible persons on the post of Executive Chef and Chef de Parti. The particular recruitment exercise became virtual with advt. No. IRCTC/Officers/2011/06 and applications from eligible candidates are being invited in the context of recruitment of Executive Chef and Chef de Parti. There are 02 vacancies for IRCTC, forthcoming, Food Factory in Noida. On the basis of fixed term, which will be lasted 03 years initially, candidates will be hired up. 1. Executive Chef
No. of Posts: – 01
Age Limit: – Not exceeding 50 years (age would be counted on 01.11.2011)
Age Relaxation: – Upper age would be relaxed by 05 years for the candidates of SC/ST; 03 years for OBC, 10 years of PH.
Essential Qualification: – 03 years Degree / Diploma in Hospitality or Hotel Management from AICTE approved institutions.
Experience: – 12 years of post qualification experience in respective work at Flight Kitchen / Bulk Kitchen / Base Kitchen is required
Salary:- Rs. 75000/- per month (10% annual increment will be given)
2. Chef de Partie (Indian Cuisine)
No. of Vacancies: – 01
Age Limit: – Not exceeding 35 years as on 01.11.2011. However, max age would be relaxed for the candidates of SC/ST, OBC, PH and Ex-servicemen.
Educational Qualification: – Should have Degree or Diploma (full 03 years time) in Hospitality and Hotel Management from govt. recognized institutions.
Experience:- 03 years of post qualification experience, out of which 01 year in same post in Kitchen of Flight, Base Kitchen.
Salary: – Rs. 30000/- per month (10% annual increment will be provided)
Process of Selection: – Candidates eligible will be opted on the basis of Written Test / Trade Test and Interview. Written Test and Trade Test will be organised for applicants of Chef de Partie. Only through Interview candidates of Executive Chef will be selected.
Exam Fee: – DD / Pay Order of Rs. 300/- is required as deposit exam fee. In the favour of “IRCTC” payable at New Delhi DD would be paid.
Fee Exemption: – SC/ST/PWD candidates are not required to pay any fee

Candidates are required to fill applications in own handwriting also enclose attested copies of documents in support of Educational Qualification, Age Proof, Caste and Experience. Requisite amount of Exam Fee in shape of DD or Pay order should also be enclosed. A recent passport size photograph (duly attested) should be pasted on allotted space of application form.
