Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites applications from eligible Indian candidates for the International Fellowship 2011-12. The fellowship programme is for the Bio-Medical Scientists. Details about the fellowship programme and their eligibility norms are showing below.

Eligibility: – M.D/Ph.D Degree with at least three yrs teaching/research teaching/research experience for young scientist; and at least fifteen yrs teaching/research experience for senior scientist. Regular position in a recognized bio-medical/research/health institution in India.
Financial Support: – For Young Scientist 2400 US dollar per month, Rs.15000/- contingency grant and return economy class air ticket.
For Senior Scientist 160 US dollar per day and after completion of the programme return economy class air ticket.

1) The applicants should submit a letter of acceptance from the foreign institute where he/she proposes to work.
2) It is also essential of the recommendations by the head of the organization for fellowship.
3) The fellowship is to be available till 28th February 2012.

5) Incomplete applications will be not entertained.
