Q. What is IBSAT Exam?

A: IBSAT is an Aptitude Test conducted all over India. This entrance examination is organized by ICFAI University Group for the admission to the Post Graduates Programmes in IBS. IBS came into existence in the year 1995. The institution provides a high quality programs in different areas of management. Students have a wide scope of selecting their area of specialization. This entrance exam is conducted annually.

Masters Degree Programs in Management at IBS Hyderabad

Master of International Business (MIB), Master of Finance and Control (MFC), Master of Investment and Financial Analysis (MIFA)

  1. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  2. Applicants with minimum of 60% marks are eligible
  3. Applicants should have English as a medium of instruction
  4. Applicants who are not from English medium in school level have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS scores
  5. Regular education of 15 years is required
  6. Final year students are also eligible.
  7. Students with provisional admission have to submit the proof of clearing their graduation within a specified date prescribed by the University.

Executive MBA Program at IBS Hyderabad

  1. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are liable
  2. Applicant medium of instruction should be done in English

  4. Applicants should possess minimum of 50% marks in graduation

  6. Three years of work experience at executive level
  7. Applicants should have minimum of 25 years of age

PhD Program in Management at IBS Hyderabad

  1. Applicants with post graduate degree in management or two years masters degree in Economics, Engineering, Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics and Psychology
  2. Minimum marks required are 60% marks or minimum CGPA of 6.00
  3. Applicants with professional qualification like CA, CS, ICWA AND CFA
  4. Regular education of 15 years is required
  5. Applicants who are not from English medium have to submit the TOEFL / NELT / IELTS scores

Q. What is the Selection Procedure after clearing IBSAT exam?

A: Selection Procedure goes like this –

  1. Candidates who will qualify the written examination will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at IBS Hyderabad
  2. Group Discussion – A group of 6 candidates will be made and they will be given 15 minutes to discuss one topic. After discussion each candidate will be given 1 minute to summarize his / her opinion.
  3. Personal Interview – This is the last stage of the selection procedure. The panel members will include Directors, Deans, Senior Faculty and Alumni. They will interview the candidates for 10 to 15 minutes.

  1. Interested candidates can download the application form from www.ibsat.org . The candidates have to pay the requisite amount through internet banking. The IBSAT application material will be sent to the candidates OR
