Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released a notification through the advertisement no. X/2011, dated 1st January 2012 for recruitment to the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services, Class-I (Gazetted) and Tehsildar, Class-I (Gazetted). For this, it is going to conduct a Combined Competitive Examination for which applications have been invited from suitable Indian candidates who are desirous to apply against this recruitment. Eligibility Criteria for both posts:
Nationality: Only Indian Citizens are eligible for this recruitment.
Essential Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have completed Bachelor Degree from a recognized University.
Age limit: Candidate’s age should be not less than 21 years and not above than 30 years as on 01/01/2012.
Age relaxation in upper age limit for: SC / ST / OBC / PWD / Children or Grand Children of freedom fighters of Himachal Pradesh by 05 years and any other reserved category candidates by as per instructions of H.P. Government.
Application Fees for:
Online application: Rs. 250/- for Gen / Gen. PH and W.F.F. of H.P. category and Rs. 63/- for SC/ST/OBC of H.P.
Mode of Payment: Through challan at any branch of Punjab National Bank (PNB).
Offline application: Rs. 300/- for Gen / PWD / WFF / Others, Rs. 115/- for SC/ST/OBC of HP. and Rs. 50/- for EXS of H.P. and visually impaired candidates of H.P.
How to apply: Candidates can apply for this recruitment through either online or offline filled in applications form. For applying offline, firstly the candidate should get OMR Computerized application form which will be available on payment at the Reception Counter of HPPSC, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002 and at all District Headquarters except Shimla / Lahaul & Spiti in the Pradesh through the whole sale or retail sale / Kinnaur / Gas Agencies of H.P.
