Gujarat High Court Exam Pattern of Assistant, English Stenographer, Gujarati Stenographer written test 2012
A large number of vacancies is being filled up by High Court of Gujarat for the post of English Stenographer, Gujarati Stenographer, Assistant (Junior Clerk) in different pay scales with different grade pays. To find the right and suitable candidates for the job on the above said posts, high court of Gujarat will organize a competitive examination. Well, to know about exam pattern, exam syllabus in the regard of this recruitment, go through the following lines.
Selection Process: It comprised of 3 stages, Written Examination, Practical / Skill Tests and Viva-Voce test (Interview). Selection of the candidates will be done on the successfully completion all three stages.
Written Test (Exam Pattern): The Written examination of 100 Marks consisting of Objective Type Questions will be of 2 Hours. There will be negative marking in this written test. 0.33 Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Only those candidates who gain minimum 50 marks in this test will be eligible for Practical Test / Skill Test. In case of SC / ST / SEBE and Disabled Persons, the minimum qualifying marks will be 45 Marks.
Exam Syllabus (Written Test): The Paper of the written test will be based on the followings;
- English Language
- Gujarati Language
- General Knowledge
- Current Affairs
- Indian History and Geography
- Basic of Computer Application
- Analytical Reasoning
- Mental Ability
Practical / Skill Test: Those who have applied for Stenographer post and qualified in written test with stipulated qualifying marks will have to appear for Speed Test of 50 Marks in Stenography and Transcription on computer. For the post of Clerk, Typing test will be of 50 Marks on computer. Candidates will have to secure at least 40% Mark in Practical / Skill test to qualify for Viva-Voce (Interview).
Viva-Voce (Interview): It will be of 50 Marks and out of which, candidates will have to obtain at least 40% Marks for being eligible for the job of Stenographer / Assistant (Junior Clerk) in the Higher Court of Gujarat.
