Post Graduate Diploma in Management – (PGDM) – Full Time Programme

  1. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE
  2. Candidates must have secured minimum of 50% marks in Graduation
  3. Final Year students are also eligible for the programme
  4. Candidates have to produce their XAT score card for the admission.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management – (PGDM – PT) – Part Time Programme

  1. Applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline recognized by the UGC / AICTE / AIU
  2. Candidates must have obtained minimum of 50% marks in Graduation
  3. Candidates must hold work experience in an executive / supervisory position for at least three years after completion of graduation

Q. What are the Selection Criteria?

A: The Selection Criteria for both the programmes are –

Post Graduate Diploma in Management – (PGDM) – Full Time Programme

  1. Candidates have to appear for the XAT test
  2. Candidates have to apply online.
  3. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of XAT score, academic record and work experience. The short listed candidates have to come for face to face evaluation for final selection.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management – (PGDM – PT) – Part Time Programme

  1. Applicants who fall into the eligibility criteria have to appear for XAT
  2. Based on applicant’s performance in the entrance test, they will be called for the interview process at the institute itself. Shortlisted candidates have to bear their own expenses to reach the institute.
  3. Final selection will be based on group discussion, personal interview, academic record, entrance test, and nature of the candidates work experience.

Q. How to apply for GIM?

A: The process of obtaining the application form goes like this –

Online mode of payment

  1. Candidates have to pay the registration fees for processing the appliocation.
  2. Candidates can make online payment by Debit / Credit Card
  3. Candidates have to enter their XAT id and then have to do the payment
  4. Download and save the Payment Advice form
  5. After completing the registration candidates will receive a confirmation email. Bulletin will be sent to the applicant by courier or post.

Payment by Demand Draft

  1. Applicants can also make a Demand Draft of a requisite amount in favor of “Goa Institute of Management”, payable at Panaji (or Panjim)
  2. Candidates can also write at par cheque in favor of “Goa Institute of Management” (the registration will be accepted after the realization of the cheque)
  3. Candidates have to enter their XAT id in the registration page and then fill the online application form.
  4. Take a print out of the Payment Advice form
  5. Candidates have to send the Payment Advice form along with the Demand Draft or Cheque by courier or registered post or speed post

Post Graduate Diploma in Management – (PGDM – PT) – Part Time Programme

  1. Candidates can obtain form and brochure (CD) by paying requisite amount in cash or by Demand Draft drawn in favor of “Goa Institute of Management” payable at Panaji or
  2. Candidates can download and print the form or
  3. Can request a soft copy on emba@gim.ac.in, print the form and submit it to the ‘Admissions Office’ GIM by paying the requisite amount.

Q. What is the placement scenario of GIM?

A: Total number of offers made for the batch of 2009 – 2011 was 111. There was a hike in the highest salary from previous years. GIM always made 100% placement for its students. Every year’s placement has made a new record for the institution. The institution invites great and renowned companies so that they hire the best of GIM. The institute also conducts summer internship program and many students receive pre placement offers at that time only.
