Applications are being invited from eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment of Junior Administrative Assistant by High Court of Gauhati. Candidates interested may see post details underneath these lines.

Post Name: – Junior Administrative Assistant

No. of Posts: – 31 (Out of which, 21 is temporary vacant)

Age Limit: – Not less than 18 yrs and not more than 38 yrs as on 31st August 2011

Age Relaxation: – Max age will be relaxed upto 5 yrs in case SC/ST applicants

Educational Qualification: – Candidates should have completed Graduation in Law stream and Knowledge of working on computer is also required.

Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- per month with Rs. 3000/- grade pay

Examination Fee: – Rs. 100/- in form of Treasury Challan (Rs. 50/- in case of SC/ST applicants)

Selection Process: – Candidates will be selected after successful completion of written test and Interview. The test of written examination will be for 300 marks. In written paper candidates ability will be checked with Objective Questions (MCQ) and Subjective Test of English Language. Candidates who will secure 60% marks will be qualified for Interview. The interview will have 50 marks.
