Gauhati High Court Recruitment for Stenographer Grade I September 2011




Applications on prescribed form are invited from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Stenographer at Gauhati High Court, Guwahati. Candidates who have all requirements made by Gauhati High court may apply against the post of Stenographer and send their application with application fees to “Registrar General of the Gauhati High court on or before 01/11/2011. Details are being given below:

Name of the Post: Stenographer Grade-I

Vacancy: Total No. of Post are 09 Out which one post for Deputation basis

Pay Scale: Rs.12000 to 40000 + Rs.5900 Grade Pay + other allowance as per rule

Age Limit: Below 18 years and not more than 38 years. Candidates who belong to SC / ST Will be relaxed upto 5 years

Qualifications:

• Minimum qualifications for the post of stenographer should be Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with Stenography diploma in English with shorthand speed of 120 words per minute and 50 words per minute on computer. Candidates holding Bachelor’s degree in Law will be given preference

Application Fees:

Candidates will have to pay application fees of Rs.100 in the shape of Treasury Challan. Fees can be deposited under the head of accounts. Rs.50 for SC /ST Candidates

How to apply:

1. Candidates who have fulfill the eligibility criteria and all the conditions may send their application in prescribed format in a super scribed envelop with the words “Application for the post of…….”

2. Candidates must attach the application fees in the shape of Treasury Challan with required enclosures

3. A Duly filled application in all respect must reach the “Office of the Registrar General” on or before 01/11/2011

Enclosures:

Candidates are required to attach the following documents with the application

1. Two copies of recent passport size photograph and it should be duly signed. One should be pasted on the application form

2. Application fees in the shape of treasury challan

3. Candidates must attach photocopies of caste certificate in case of SC / ST

4. Copies of diploma certificates of Stenography / Shorthand & Type Writing / Computer. It must be attested by the candidates

5. Candidates who are working in Semi Govt, / Govt. Sector are required to attach No Objection Certificates

Note:

 Candidates should send their application only in prescribed format and do not forget to put their signature to space provided in the application

 Before sending application, Candidates must go though all the parts of application form for checking error

 Application received after last date will not be accepted
