A. Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) is the most renowned institution in India. The institution offers courses to both under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs. The institution came into existence in the year 1981. Admission to the post Graduate programs is done through an Entrance Examination called NMAT (NMIMS Management Aptitude Test). NMAT is conducted in a time frame of three months allowing choice of two retakes to the students. More than 60000 students get admission to the institution.   2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

MBA Actuarial Science

  1. Applicants should be a graduate in Mathematics / Engineering / Statistics / Computer Science / Economics.
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks
  3. Applicants with ACA and ICWA are also eligible

MBA Banking

  1. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

MBA Capital Market

  1. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

MBA HR

  1. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

MBA Pharmaceutical Management

  1. Applicants with graduation in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical Doctors MBBS, BDS, BSMS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a recognized University are eligible
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks.
  3. Applicants with Masters Degree in Psychology, Economics and Sociology can also apply

PGDM – Bangalore Campus

  1. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

PGDM – Hyderabad Campus

  1. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
  2. Applicants should have minimum of 50% marks

Other Details

  1. Final year students can also apply
  2. Students with CGPA or grades have to convert their points to marks by the scheme prescribed by the University
  3. Applicants have to obtain minimum of 50% in their first attempt
  4. The institution has the right to alter the eligibility terms without any prior intimation
  5. Applicants with work experience are preferred

A. The Examination Pattern of NMAT is explained below –

  1. The NMAT will have three sections – Language Skills, Quantitative Skills and Logical Reasoning.

  1. Time allotted to the test is two hours
  2. The question paper will have multiple choice questions

  1. Study Material – Aspirants’ should make sure that they posses correct study materials for their preparation. They are available in markets and can also be obtained in internet. The study material should include all the relevant stuffs in it.
  2. Routine – A proper routine with allotment of equal amount of time to all the subjects is important. Aspirants’ time table will reflect their seriousness about the examination.
