As its name, Dalhousie town was founded by Lord Dalhousie, the governor-general of British India between 1854 and 1856. He choosed this place for its scenic beauty and bracing climate.

This is a site where five small bridges over streams emerging from a natural tank can be seen. The scene of Panchpula is quite mesmerizing. Here is also a samadhi of freedom fighter Sardar Ajit Singh, uncle of sardar Bhagat Singh,the great martyr.
2. LAXMINARYAN TEMPLE :-
This is a beautiful temple,in which there is a splendid image of Lord Vishnu.This is a 150years old temple. This temple is situated in Sadar bajar Dalhousie.
3. RADHA SWAMI SATSANG BHAWAN:-
This is a satsang Bhawan related to followers of the Radha swami sect of beas. The satsang Bhawan is situated near Moti tibba.A large number of followers visitDalhousie specially to visit here. Present Chief of Radha swami Baba gurinder singh ji visits Dalhousie twice in a year.
This is a building in Dalhousie, where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose stayed after his release from British jail.
5. Subhash Baoli: –
This was a favourite place of Subhash Chandra Bose. He stayed here during 7 months placement in 1937 in Dalhousie.. Here is a charming water body among dense forest.
Dalhousie is very famous for four beautiful churches. These are St. patrick’s Church at Balun, Saint John Church at Gandhi Chauk, St. Andrew’s Church and St. Francis Church at Subhash chauk.
