Karnataka Examination Authority is inviting application for the Common Entrance Test of the year 2012 – 2013 for the admission to Medical / Dental/Ayurveda/ Homeopathy/ Unani / Naturopathy or yoga/Engineering /Technology and Architecture Courses in Government Colleges in the state.
The prescribed forms are available for the interested candidates for this examination on or before 9th March, 2012 for the candidates from Karnataka and 15th March 2012 for the candidates outside Karnataka.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Candidates may see the prescribed Qualifications and other Terms and Conditions of the Entrance Competitive Examination 2012 in the Detailed Booklet.
KCET Admission Procedure:
For Engineering /Technology
The candidate must take the test for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics if they want admission in the Engineering or Technology field.
For Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga.
The applicant must appear in the test comprising the subjects physics, chemistry and biology, if he wants admission in Medical / Dental / Ayurveda / Homoeopathy / Unani / Naturopathy & Yoga
For Admission in Architecture courses
The applicant must appear for NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) conducted by the council of Architecture and they compulsorily obtain CET brochure and submit the filled application form, Last date to apply for NATA is 19/03/2012.
How to get the Application Forms:
- By sending the demand draft of Rs 750/- in favor of “The EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF KARNATAKA EXAMINATION AUTHORITY, BANGALORE” , in a self addressed cloth-lined envelope of 25cmX30cm. Candidates outside India wanting to appear in the admission, they have to send demand draft of Rs 5000/- the content on the envelope should be either in English or kannada language, and on the envelope boldly super scribed “REQUEST FOR CET-2012 BROCHURE”.
- Students who are eligible for appearing in the Karnataka CET exams and completed 12th std residing outside the Karnataka state within the territory of India, can procure the prospectus which contains the application form by “SPEED POST”.
- The Karnataka students will have to send their filled up form to the above mentioned address on or before 9th March. 2012.
- The candidate outside the state of Karnataka can send their filled up form on or before 15th march, 2012
Test dates: April & May each year
Last date for availability of application forms from schools/colleges: March 2012.
KCET Entrance result Notification: In the month of June each year
Last date of forms submission by post: 2nd week of April 2012.
