Communication Wing of Boarder Security forces (BSF) is looking to induct eligible Indian nationals on to vacancies of ASI (RM) & Head Constable (RO). Applications, in wake of above vacancy, are invited latest by 27th July 2012 from male contenders having desired to live up experiences of protecting Indian Boarder as well as serving nations. Aspirant not more than 25 years of age also completed Matriculation with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology are suitable for ASI positions. Job details of ASI (RM) & HC (RO) of BSF
1. Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Radio Mechanic
No. of Vacancies: – 100 (UR-40, OBC-30, SC-16, ST-14)
Age Limit: – Applicants age should be fallen between 18 to 25 years of mark as on 27th July 2012
Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade pay Rs. 2800/-
Educational Qualification: – 10th passed with Diploma in Radio & TV Technology / Electronics / Telecommunication / Electrical / Computer / Mechanical / Domestic Appliances.
2. Head Constable (HC) Radio Operator
No. of Jobs: – 959 (UR-231, OBC-326, SC-277, ST-125)
Limitation of Age: – Minimum 18 years, Maximum 23 years as on 27th July 2012
Qualification: – 12th passed with Science stream or 10th passed with ITI in Radio and TV / Electronics
Scale of Pay: – Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
Physical Standard: – Applicants should be not less than 170 cm tall and their unexpanded chest should be 80 cm. Concession in measurement of Height and Chest will be applicable for ST, Adivasis, Mizos, Nagas and resident of Hilly location.
Medical Standard: – Minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of both eyes.
Selection Procedure: – Candidates will be selected after Written Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test, Dictation Test, Certificate Verification, Personal Interview and Medical Examination.
Application Fee: – As application fee applicants have to deposit Rs. 50/- through IPO or Crossed Bank Draft. In the favour of ‘The Inspector General / DIG / Commandant of Regional Centre’ payable at SBI / Post Office of concerned region DD or IPO should be drawn.
Fee Exemption: – SC/ST and Department candidates are exempted to pay any application fee.
How to apply: – Candidates eligible as well as interested may use prescribed format for sending their applications. Along with application attested copy of certificates claiming Age Proof, Caste, Educational Qualification, Domicile to be enclosed. 02 self addressed envelope with affixed Rs. 27/- stamp on each should also be enclosed. Apart of it, own passport size photograph to be affixed on allotted space of applications.
