Applications are being invited from eligible and interested candidates for the various posts for appointment in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD). Details of this recruitment are given below:

1. Technical Officer-E (Mining)

No. of posts: 01 (UR)

Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs. 7,600/-

Required Qualifications:

i)  B.Tech / BE Degree in Mining Engineering with min. 60% marks in aggregate from recognized university

ii)  First class mines manager certificate of competency

Experience: Having 09 yrs of working exp. in production line of a large mechanized underground metal mines/mechanized opencast mines.

2. Technical Officer-C (Mining)

No. of posts: 02 (UR)

Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs 5400/-

Essential Qualification: B.Tech / BE Degree in Mining Engineering with min. 60% marks in aggregate from recognized university and First class mines manager certificate of competency.

3. Technical Officer-C (Chemistry)

No. of posts: 06 (UR-03, OBC-02, SC-01)

Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs 5400/-

Needed Qualifications: M.Sc in Chemistry with min. 60% marks with specialization in Analytical / Industrial Chemistry / Inorganic from recognized institution

4.Technical Officer-C (Mechanical / Drilling)

No. of Posts: 02 (UR-01, OBC-01)

Pay Scale: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs 5400/-

Educational Qualifications: First class BE / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical / Drilling / Automobile Engineering from a recognized university.

5. Technical Officer-C (Civil)

No. of posts: 02 (Gen)

Scale of Pay: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs 5400/-

Required Educational Qualifications: BE / AMIE / B.Tech in civil engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university

6. Technical Officer-C (Electrical)

No. of vacancies: 01 (General)

Scale of Pay: PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with GP of Rs 5400/-

Educational Qualifications: BE / B.Tech / AMIE in electrical engineering with 60% marks.

7. Scientific Assistant-B (Electrical)

No. of vacant posts: 02 (UR)

PB & GP: PB-2, RS. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-

Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with min. 60% marks.

8. Scientific Assistant-B (Mine Survey)

No. of posts: 02 (UR)

Pay Band: PB-2, RS. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-

Essential Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engg. with min. 60% marks and having Mines Survey Competency Certificate in Metalliferous Mines

9. Technician-B (Drilling)

No. of vacant posts: 28 (UR-12, OBC-09, SC-04, ST-03)

Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 2000/-

Educational qualifications:

i) SSC or HSC passed with  min. 60% marks with Maths and Science

ii) Having recognized trade certificate in Auto Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic trade of not less than 01 year duration awarded by NCVT.

10. Technician-B (Electrical)

No. of vacancies: 03 (SC-01, OBC-01, Gen-01)

Pay Band & Grade Pay: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 2000/-

Required Qualifications: candidates should have passed higher secondary or senior secondary with first class with Science and Maths and  Having recognized trade certificate in Electrician trade of not less than 01 year duration awarded by NCVT.

11. Technician-B ( Physics )

No. of posts: 02 (Gen)

Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 2000/-

Educational Qualification: Passed higher secondary or senior secondary with first class with Science and Maths and having recognized trade certificate in Mechinist or Instrument Mechanic Trade of not less than 01 year duration awarded by NCVT.

12. Technician-B (Chemistry)

No. of vacant posts: 02 (General)

Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 2000/-

Required Qualifications: HSC / SSC passed with 60% marks with Science and Maths and recognized trade certificate in chemical plant or chemical laboratory works.

13. Technician-B (EDXRF, EPMA)

Pay Scale: PB-1, Rs. 5200-20200 with GP Rs. 2000/-

No. of posts: 02 (UR)

Qualifications: HSC / SSC passed with 60% marks with Science and Maths and having certificate of recognized relevant trade.

14. Stenographer (Grade-II)

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/- (PB-2)

Total no of posts: 07 (UR-05, OBC-01, SC-01)

Qualifications: 10th standard passed with 50% marks and minimum speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand and 45 wpm in English Typing.

15. Stenographer (Grade-III)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Rs. 2400 GP (PB-1)

No. of vacancies: 02 (OBC-1, SC-1)

Essential Qualifications: Matriculation or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks and 80 w/m stenography speed in English and 30 w/m Typing speed in English.

16. Upper Division Clerk (UDC)

No. of posts: 09 (Gen-05, OBC-02, SC-01, ST-01)

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Rs. 2400 GP (PB-1)

Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with min. 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university and knowledge of computer data processing.

17. Driver (Ordinary Grade)

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/- + Rs. 1900 GP (PB-1)

No. of posts: 20 (Gen-17, OBC-02, SC-01)

Educational Qualifications: Matriculation and must have driving license and must be able to attend to miner repairs of petrol and diesel vehicles

Experience: Candidates must have 03 yrs of exp. in light / heavy vehicles driving.

Limit of Age (as on 1st January 2011)

For Technical Officer/E – Not above than 37 yrs

For Scientific Assistant/B – Maximum 30 yrs

For Technical Officer/C, Steno Gr. II & III, UDC and Driver – Maximum 27 yrs

For Technician-B – Max. 25 yrs

Age relaxation will be given to SC / ST candidates by 05 yrs and 03 yrs for OBC candidates.

Application Fee: Rs. 100/- in the mode of DD drawn in favor of “The Pay & Accounts Officer, AMD, Hyderabad” payable at Secunderabad.
