AIMA MAST 2012 Notification

Management Aptitude and Skills Test (MAST) is an examination which acts as a bridge between the recruiter and fresh management pass outs. The examination is conducted to evaluate the candidates’ skills and select potential managers for the best recruiters. The examination has the capability to select those candidates whose has the capability to make difference in the corporate world. The examination will be carried out at different centers of India and the test will be Computer Based Test. All the interested and eligible candidates can apply to the examination which will take place on 26.02.2012. The score card of the MAST will be valid for one year.

What are the Important Dates?

Last Date for Online Registration 21.01.2012 (Through Demand Draft)21.01.2012 (Through Credit Card / Debit Card)
Last Date for submission of registration form 25.01.2012
Mode of Test Computer Based Test
Test Date 26.02.2012
Test Timing In different time slots at specific test venue; subject to the number of candidates registering for Computer Based Test
Test Center Test Center City List is provided in the Registration Form, the test will take place in different time slots, and one candidate can appear only for one domain.
Admit Card Candidates can download the admit card from AIMA website link – www.aima-ind.org/MAST2012Feb prior to 15 days of the examination. (i.e on 13.02.2012from 13.00 hours onwards)






Who can apply?

  1. Candidates must hold MBA / PGDM or equivalent degree / diploma in management from a recognized University / Institute
  2. Candidates holding the above degree or courses having duration less than 2 years are not eligible.
  3. Candidates who have passed on or after2009 are only eligible
  4. Final year students can also apply
  5. There is no requirement of minimum percentage
  6. There is no age limit
  7. Work experience is not necessary

How to apply?

  1. Candidates have to register themselves with a valid and active email id.
  2. Payment can be made through Credit Card / Debit Card or by sending Demand Draft
  3. The cost of the test is Rs 1750/-. Candidates applying on or before15th December2011 can register by paying Rs 1250/- instead of 1750/-

  1. Candidates have to be ready with Credit Card / Debit Card / ATM Card (Approved by Master / Visa) before starting online registration.
  2. Candidates can submit application against only one Domain Functional Area.
  3. Candidates have to fill the form correctly, click the button ‘Proceed Next’. The data filled by the candidate will be displayed. If candidates want to change any information, click ‘Back to Edit Registration Form’ button. If there is no change, click ‘Play Now’ button.
  4. An Auto Generated Registration Number is allotted to the candidate on successful submission of online registration form and will appear on print version of the Registration Form.
  5. Candidates are advised to save the print version of application form before taking the print out.
  6. Take the print out and keep for future reference
  7. Now candidates have to send the application form
  8. Candidates have to send the print out of the filled online application form with auto generated Application Form Number along with a photograph and duly signed by 25. 01. 2012 to the following address –

Demand Draft

  1. Candidates have to obtain a Demand Draft of Rs 1750/- drawn in favor of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at New Delhi. (Candidates applying on or before15th December2011 can register by paying Rs 1250/- instead of 1750/-)
  2. Candidates must be ready with the Demand Draft before applying online.
  3. Candidates can submit application against only one Domain Functional Area.
  4. Candidates have to fill the form correctly, click the button ‘Proceed Next’. The data filled by the candidate will be displayed. If candidates want to change any information, click ‘Back to Edit Registration Form’ button. If there is no change, click ‘Play Now’ button.
  5. An Auto Generated Registration Number is allotted to the candidate on successful submission of online registration form and will appear on print version of the Registration Form.
  6. Candidates are advised to save the print version of application form before taking the print out.
  7. Take the print out and keep for future reference
  8. Now candidates have to attach the Demand Draft with the print version of application
  9. Candidates have to make a note of certain things before dispatching the form. Candidates have to make a set of following documents  –
Print out of the filled online application form with auto generated Application Form Number along with a photograph and duly signed by 25. 01. 2012. On the back of Demand Draft candidates have to fill the following details – a) Candidates Name b) Auto Generated Application Form Number

What is the pattern of the examination?

  1. The question paper will have objective type questions only.
  2. Total time allotted is 2 hours 30 minutes
  3. There is no negative marking for the wrong answer
  4. The medium of instruction will be in English
  5. The question paper will have 3 sections

                 a. Psychometric Assessment

                 b. General Aptitude

                 c.  Domain Knowledge

How to obtain the admit card?

  1. Candidates who have registered provisionally can download their admit card after 13.02.2012 from AIMA website: www.aima-ind.org/MAST2012Feb
  2. Candidates accessing the website the earliest can choose the time of his / her choice subject to availability.

How to obtain the MAST results?

  1. The result will be declared during the last week of March 2012.
  2. Candidates can download their score card with his Registration Form Number and Roll No from AIMA website.
