AIEEE 2012 Notice

AIEEE is an initialism of All India Engineering Entrance Examination. The examination is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admission to the Under Graduate Level courses in Bachelors of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology. The examination is being conducted every year. Students from all corner of the country appear for this examination. The examination is being conducted for the admission to the Engineering and Architecture courses in National Institute of Technologies (NITs) and Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Engineering Institutes.

 Notification for the year AIEEE 2012 has come out. Offline examination will take place on 29.04.2012 (Sunday) and online examination for Bachelors of Engineering and Bachelor of Technology will take place from 07.05.2012 to 26.05.2012.

What are the Important Dates for AIEEE 2012?

  1. Start of Online Registration: 15.11.2011 from 11:00 am onwards
  2. Last Date of Online Registration: 31.12.2012

Who can apply?

  1. Candidates who have cleared 10+2 or equivalent are eligible for AIEEE 2012
  2. Final year students can also apply
  3. Candidates who will appear 10+2 in 2013 and candidates who have passed 10+2 in 2009 are not eligible
  4. Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st October 1987 are eligible.
  5. Upper age limit for Schedule Caste / Schedule Tribe and Persons with Disability candidates is relaxed by 5 years. It means candidates born on or after 1st October 1982 are eligible.

How to Apply?

  1. Application forms are available in the website:  www.aieee.nic.in
  2. Applications have to be submitted online only.
  3. Candidates should confirm about the course, the mode of examination, category and city of examination centre. The cities for offline and online examination are different
  4. Candidates should go through the fees structure properly
  5. Candidates can make payment through Demand Draft or by Debit / Credit Card
  6. After submitting the details online, a Confirmation Page with Registration Number shall be generated.
  7. Candidates have to take a print out of the Confirmation Page and have to paste photograph, put left thumb impression, sign in the space provided and write down the residential address.
  8. The confirmation page has to be sent by registered or speed post to CBSE.
  9. Candidates who opt for Demand Draft have to get the same prepared in favor of ‘Secretary , CBSE’ payable at Delhi / New Delhi
  10. Candidates have to send the Confirmation Page along with the Demand Draft to the CBSE.
  11. Candidates should mention their Registration Number, Name and Correspondence Address at the back of the Demand Draft.
  12. The Confirmation Page along with Demand Draft (if fee is being paid through Demand Draft) is to be sent by registered post / speed post to the following address –
