Vacancy details for the job of Assistant Professor, Assistant Librarian and Technical Assistants : -

1. Assistant Professor

No. of Vacancies – 95 ( Backlog – 05 and Current – 90 )

Pay Scale – Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Rs. 6000 /- Advance Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Aspirants must have completed Master degree in concerned discipline / relevant subject with at least 55% marks from any recognized university as well as NET / SLET / SET conducted by UGC / ICAR / CSIR / SLET / SET with one publication in NAAS.

2. Assistant Librarian

No. of Vacancies – 02

Pay Scale – 15600 – 39100 with Rs. 6000 .- Grade Pay

Educational qualification – Master degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent profession degree with at least 55% marks from any recognized university and NET with one publication in UGC / NAAS.

3. Technical Assistant

No. of Vacancies – 05

Pay Scale – Rs. 9300 – 34,800 with Rs. 4200 /- Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Graduation from any recognized agricultural / horticultural university with minimum 55% marks

Application fee – Aspirants are required to accompany with application form a demand draft of Rs. 500 /- that should be drawn in favour of ” The Comptroller, University of Horticultural Science, Bagalkot”.

Selection procedure – After forming the merit list on the basis of educational qualification, aspirants will be called for Interview.
