 Recruitment at SSC for FCI for the Vacancy of Assistant Grade III Jobs 

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a vacancy notification for the job of Assistant Grade III for  different cadre and different zone of Food Corporation of India (FCI). There are 6545 Vacancies available for this position. For selection, A Written Examination will be conducted on 11th of November, 2012.  In this regard, Applications through only online mode are being invited from deserving Personnel for appointment. Zone and Cadre Wise Vacancy Details –  North Zone — General – 516, Accounts – 238, Technical – 1652, Depot – 617.

East Zone – General – 85, Accounts – 142, Technical – 411, Depot – 115

South Zone – General – 156, Accounts – 134, Technical – 631, Depot – 738

West Zone – General – 62, Accounts – 47, Technical – 474, Depot – 286

North East Zone – General – 39, Accounts – 89, Technical – 113,

Essential Qualification – For General Cadre – Bachelor degree in any stream and Good Knowledge of Computers.

For Accounts Cadre -   Graduation with Commerce and Good Awareness of Computers.

For Technical Cadre – Graduation with Science in  any one of Agriculture / Zoology/ Botany/ Bio chemistry/ Bio Technology/ Food Science/ Microbiology  OR, 

Bachelor of Technology or Engineering in any one of Food Science and Technology/ Food Science/ Bio Technology/ Agricultural Engineering

(ii) Good Awareness of Compute  Operation.

For Depot Cadre – Bachelor degree in any Faculty with Good Knowledge of Computer Application.

Age Limit – Applicants age should not be more than 27 years as counted on  01/08/2012. Relaxation in upper age limit will be given as per rules and regulations of Govt.

Pay Scale - Rs. 9300-22,940/- Per Month

Selection Process – Selection shall be made on the basis of Written Examination followed by skill test of computers. Written Examination  will organized on 11 th of November, 2012 and 6th of January, 2013.

Application Fee – Rs. 200/- through SBI Net Banking or challan. SC/ ST/ Ex Service Men/ PH/ Female Category Person are exempted from paying fee.
