Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has released a advertisement of the Vacancy of the designation of Assistant Town Planner for Department of Housing and Urban Development, Punjab. In this regard, Applications are being invited from deserving personnel for appointment on this position. Name of Job – Assistant Town Planner
No. of Vacancies – 02 seat
Educational Qualification – Applicant should have completed Bachelor of Technology in Planning or PG Degree or Diploma in City and Regional Planning from recognized University. Applicant should have studied Punjabi language at Matriculation level.
Age Limit - 18 to 37 years as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation will be given to reserved category as per rules and regulation of State Govt.
Pay Scale – Rs. 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/- Per Month.
Selection Process – Selection shall be based on the basis of Screening Test and Interview
How to Apply – Applicant with having requisite Educational Qualification and desired to apply, should download the prescribed format of application format from official website of PPSC. It can be also obtained from office of PPSC at the address of PPSC, Baradari Gardens, Patiala from 23rd of August, 2012. For this, Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Cash) on counter. Application form can be also obtained through post after sending DD of Rs. 75/- in favour of the Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission, Payable at Patiala to the address of PPSC. Name of Applicant should be written on the back side of DD. Properly filled application in all respect along with DD of application fee (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST, Rs. 200/- for others, Ex Servicemen of Punjab – Nil) and all relevant supporting document in claim of Educational qualification, Age proof etc should be sent to below written address.
