Recruitment in IIT Bombay for Junior Mechanic Vacancies
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has published a vacancy notification to hire eligible Indian Nationals particularly from OBC community for the position of Junior Mechanic. Regarding this, applications on prescribed format are invited from such individuals having completed Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Air Con Systems / Civil Engineering. Job details of Junior Mechanic of IIT Bombay
Name of Position: – Junior Mechanic
No. of Vacancies: – 09
Age Limit: – Should not be older than 30 years
Qualification: - Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Air con Systems / Civil / Construction / Electronics / Instrumentation engineering.
Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-
Selection Process: – Process of selection depends on Written Test / Trade Test & Interview.
Job Nature: – Temporary
Job Tenure: – 03 years
Application Fee: – Demand Draft of Rs. 50/- to enclose as application fee. It is required to DD should endorse to ‘Registrar, IIT Bombay’ payable at Powai, Mumbai.
Fee Exemption: – Female and PH candidates are exempted to pay any application fee.
How to apply: – Aspirant of OBC community may submit their respective applications on prescribed format. Duly filled applications to be accompanied with attested copy of certificates pertaining Age Proof, Educational Qualification and Caste. Passport size photo of applicant should also be affixed at allotted space on application. Requisite amount of DD to also be enclosed with applications.
