Recruitment of Assistant Commandants in CAPF by UPSC : Apply online 

A written examination is about to be convened by Union Public Service Commission  to engaged eligible aspirants as Assistant Commandants in Central Armed Police Forces ( CAPF ) Viz BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP and SSB. Vacancy details for the positions of Assistant Commandants in CARF : - 

Examination Notice No. 11/2012-CPF 

Written examination date – 11th November 2012 

Name of post – Assistant Commandant 

No. of Vacancies – 401 ( BSF – 94, CRPF – 223, CISF – 44, ITBP – 26 and SSB – 14 )

Age limit – Candidates’age should be between 20 years and 25 years as on 1st August 2012.

Educational qualification – Bachelor degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Physical Standard - 

Men - Height – 165 cm, Chest – 81 cm ( with 5 cm expansion ) and Weight – 50 kg

Women – 157 cm, Weight – 46 kg

Application fee – Aspirants willing to apply are required to pay Rs. 200 /- by depositing the money in any branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of SBI and its associates. All female candidates and SC / ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee.

Selection procedure – As per performance in written examination, Physical and Medical standards test and physical Efficiency Test and Interview / Personality test.
