Vacancies of Factory Advisory Officer, Accounts Officer, Junior Translator etc in Tea Board of India :

Tea Board of India was incorporated under the Section 4 of Tea Act 1953 in the year 1954. It is functioning under the Ministry of Commerce , Government of India. All works related to exports of tea from India were controlled by the Tea Board.

Tea Board of India has announced for the recruitment of Twenty Two Factory Advisory Officer, Two Accounts Officer etc in pay scale of 15,600 – 39,100 plus Rs. 5400 GP, Rs. 9300 – 34800 plus 4600 GP etc per month respectively. Regarding to which, it has invited applications in prescribed format from the aspirants who fulfill prescribed eligibility criteria. Applicants who will have the certificates of required qualifications can submit their application with all essential documents to the Secretary on or before 10.08.2012. Recruitment details for the vacancies of Factory Advisory Officer, Accounts Officer, Junior Translator etc in Tea Board of India : -

1. Controller of Licensing

No. of Vacancies – 01

Age limit – Not exceed than 35 years

Pay Scale – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Rs. 6,600 Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Graduation in any discipline and Experience at Senior Executive level in business house of repute.

2. Factory Advisory Officer

No.of Vacancies – 22

Age limit – Not exceed than 35 years

Pay Scale – Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 with Rs. 5400 Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Bachelor degree in Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics and Instrumentation or Agriculture Engineering from any recognized university.

3. Accounts Officer

No. of Vacancies – 02

Age limit – Not exceed than 40 years

Pay scale – Rs. 9300 to 34,800 plus Rs. 4600 Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Bachelor degree in any discipline and Passed final examination of ICA or SAS held by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India Department.

4. Junior Translator ( Hindi )

No. of Vacancies – 01

Age limit – Not exceed than 30 years

Pay Scale – Rs. 9,300 – 34800 /- with Grade Pay Rs. 4200 per month

Educational qualification – Bachelor degree in any discipline with Hindi and English as subject from any recognized university. Hindi honours candidates will be given preference.

5. Director of Tea Development

No. of Vacancies – 01

Age limit – Not exceed than 50 years

Pay Scale – Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 with Rs. 8,700 /- Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Graduation in Science discipline with at least 10 years experience in tea plantations.

Application fee – Bank Draft / IPO of Rs. 100 /- drawn in favour of “ Tea Board “, payable at Kolkata should be sent along with application form.

Selection procedure – Selection of applicants will be done on the basis of performance in written test, skill test and interview.
