2. Junior Engineer – II ( Works ) – 01 – 18 to 43 years – Diploma in Civil Engineering
3. Junior Engineer – II ( P-way ) – 01 – 18 to 43 years – Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Engineering ( Transportation )
4. Section Engineer ( Signal ) – 01 – 20 to 45 years – Four years engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, Optical Communication etc or M.Sc. ( Electronics, Physics, Computer Science )
5. Junior Engineer – II ( Signal ) – 01 – 18 to 43 years – Three years Diploma in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Microprocessor, T.V. Engineering etc
6. Junior Engineer – II ( Tele ) – 01 – 18 to 43 years – Diploma in Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Microprocessor etc
7. Junior Engineer – II ( Elect. ) – 01 – 18 to 43 years – Diploma in Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunication etc
8. Junior Engineer – II ( Mechanical ) – 02 – 18 to 43 years – Diploma in Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial / Mechanical etc
9. ASM – 03 – 18 to 43 years – Graduation in any discipline. Diploma in Railway Transport and Management from Institute of Rail Transport will be an additional desirable qualification
10. Tech. III ( Diesel Mechanical ) – 55 – 18 to 40 years – Matriculation plus ITI in Diesel Mechanic
11. Tech. ( Diesel Elect. ) – 11 – 18 to 40 years – Matriculation with ITI in trade of Electrical
12. Tech. III ( Fitter ) – 07 – 18 to 40 years – Matriculation with ITI in Fitter
