Electricity Department of Lakshdweep  is providing opportunity, particularly for Locals youths, to join Engine Driver / Attendant / Lineman / Helper positions. Regarding contractual vacancy, applications are being invited by Lakshdweep Administration from suitable candidates by 10th August 2012. Local youth, if completed SSLC & have ITI certificates in Electrician / Wireman, are eligible to apply. Job details of Lineman / Attendant / Engine Driver of Lakshdweep Administration

Name of Position: – Lineman / Helper / Engine Driver

No. of Vacancies: – 12

Educational Qualification: - Should have passed SSLC also acquired ITI or National Trade Certificates in Electrician / Wireman / Mechanic Diesel trade

Age Limit: – Age of applicants should be below 40 years mark

Salary: – Rs. 8000/- per month (inclusive)

Process of Selection: – Selection process depends on Experience and Obtained Marks of both SSLC and ITI level.
