Recruitment in Government of West Bengal for Clerk, Peon, Block Informatics Officer Jobs: -
Government of West Bengal is going to recruit some eligible persons on vacant positions of Block Informatics Officer, Clerk-cum-Typist and Peon. In concern of the recruitment, applications have been invited from suitable applicants who fulfill the following criteria related to essential qualifications and age limit. Vacancies Details for West Bengal Government Clerk, Peon and Block Informatics Officer: -
1. Block Informatics Officer
Number of vacancies: 03 in which 01 for Gen, 01 for OBC and 01 for ST.
Pay Scale: Rs. 7100-37600/- plus Rs. 3900/- of Grade Pay.
Essential Qualifications: Must be qualified either B.Tech. or B.Sc. in Information Technology from a recognized University.
2. Clerk-cum-Typist
Number of seats: 18 in which 06 for Gen, 01 for UR PH, 04 for Gen (EC), 04 for SC, 01 for SC (EC), 01 for ST and 01 for OBC.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5400-25200/- and Rs. 2600/- Grade Pay
Essential Educational Qualifications: Those are having following qualifications are eligible for the post:
i) 10th examination passed.
ii) Minimum 30 w/m in English and 20 w/m in Bengali typing speed.
iii) Proficiency in either MS Word or such other standard computerized word processing applications.
3. Peon
No. of posts: 04 in which 01 for UR, 01 for SC, 01 for ST and 01 for UR EXS.
Pay Scale: Rs. 4900-16200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1700/-
Essential Qualifications: Applicants should have only knowledge of reading and writing in Bengali.
Age Limit for all posts (as on 1st January 2012): Should be completed 18 years of age and not be crossed the maximum limit of 40 years.

Completely filled in applications must be attached with 02 passport size photographs, 01 self addressed envelope in size of 25*10 cm with postage stamp of Rs. 5/- only and sent to the following address by registered post only latest by 30/07/2012 up to 05:30 pm.
