Recruitment in PKIET for Lab Technician and Assistant Librarian Vacancy

Applications are invited by Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Institute of Engineering and Technology (PKIET) from the Qualified and dynamic candidates for filling up the vacancy of Lab Technician and Assistant Librarian. Job Details of Assistant Librarian and Lab Technician Vacancy in PKIET

01. Lab Technician

Discipline and No. of Vacancy: – CSE/ IT-09 (UR-05, MBC-02, OBC-01, SC-01), ECE-05 (UR-02, OBC-01, MBC-01, SC-01), Chemistry-01 (UR), Counter Assistant cum Book Restorer-02 (UR).

Total No. of Vacancies: – 17 (UR-10, MBC-03, SC-02, OBC-02,)

Academic Qualification: -

  • Lab Technician: – Applicants must have completed B.Sc. in related discipline from any recognized Institution or University with one year working experience or Three years Diploma in related discipline from any reputed Institution with minimum three years working experience in reputed concerns/ educational Institution.
  • Counter Assistant cum Book Restorer: – Bachelor Degree in any discipline with CLIS along with one year working experience in any recognized Institutions.

02. Assistant Librarian

No. of Vacancies: – 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: – Master Degree in any discipline with BLIS and Diploma in Library Automation or PGDCA.

Experience: – Minimum five years working experience in any recognized Institution.

Salary: -

  • For Group C applicants: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.
  • For Group B applicants: – Rs. 9300-34800/- with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/- per month.

Selection Procedure: – Applicants selection will be based on Written Examination.

Applicants Age Limitation: – Applicants age should not be more than 32 years.

Application Fee: – Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/PH category candidates) must be paid by applicants as application fee in the form of Demand Draft Drawn in favor of ‘The Principal, PKIET, Payable at Karaikal’.
