Recruitment at NAU for the Vacant post of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, and Agriculture Assistant / Field Worker
Navsari Agriculture University (NAU) a leading university for Education and research in area of Agriculture, located at Navsari, Gujarat, has released a recruitment notification for the post of Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, and Agriculture Assistant / Field Worker for it’s Rashtriya krishi Vikas yojana (RKVY) project. So NAU is going to hold a Walk in Interview on 16th of June, 2012 for selection of suitable and qualified Candidates for filling up 50 vacant situation above said position. In this regard, deserving Candidates are being invited to participate in Walk in interview for appointment on such posts. NAU Research Associate, Senior Research Fellow, Agriculture Assistant/ Field Worker Vacancy Details
1. Name of Post – Research Associate
No. of Vacancies - 02 Post
Educational Qualification – Post graduation in Science with Agriculture and minimum 02 years relevant experience OR
Doctorate degree in any one of plant breeding, plant pathology, bio technology or physiology.
Salary - For Master Degree holder – Rs. 22,000/- and HRA per month, For Doctorate degree holder Candidates – Rs.24,000/- and HRA per month.
2. Name of Post – Senior Research Fellow
No. of Vacancies - 10 Post
Essential Qualification – Master degree in Agriculture with specialty in any one discipline of plant breeding, plant pathology, entomology, biotechnology, horticulture, agronomy, forestry, extension, or fisheries in coastal aquaculture
Age Limit – Maximum 28 years.
Salary - Rs. 16,000/- (fixed) and HRA. Per month
3. Name of Post – Agriculture Assistant/ Field Worker
No. of Vacancies – 38 Post
Educational Qualification – B.R.S or Diploma in any one of horticulture, agriculture, LITC, with experience in field of fish farming etc
Age Limit – Maximum – 28 years
Salary - A Consolidated Amount of Rs. 6,000/- Per month
Nature of Job – All of above post are on contractual basis. It will end with the duration of project.
Selection Process – Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in personal interview
Date and Time of Interview - 16th of June, 2012 at 8.00 am.
Venue for Interview – Office of the Directorate of Research, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari
How to attend the interview – Desired Candidates may appear in interview on above written date, time and address. Candidates are required to come with application mentioned with all details of bio-data . A recent passport size photograph should be pasted on the application. Attested copies of all supporting documents in claim of Educational qualification (Matriculation onward ) etc must be enclosed with application.
Some important points -1. Basic knowledge of Computer application is essential for all of above post.
2. Selected Candidates will not claim for regular job.
3. Candidates will not be paid any TA/DA for appearing in interview.
4. Candidates with having reading and writing knowledge of Gujarati language will be preferred.
