ECL was incorporated in the year 1975 as an associate of Coal India Limited ( C.I.L ). It is situated in the state West Bengal and Jharkhand. It is prominently known for producing the best quality of non coking coal.

Eastern Coalfields Limited has announced to recruit Ninety Two employees as Junior Overnman, M / Sirdar and Deputy Surveyor. 1. Junior Overnman

No. of Vacancies – 13

Salary – Rs. 19035.02 /- per month

Educational qualification – Matriculation OR Three years Diploma in Mining engineering from any recognized university with valid certificate of Overman, Gas Testing and First Aid.

2. M / Sirdar

No. of Vacancies – 70

Payment – Rs. 19035.02 /- per month

Educational qualification – Matriculation with valid certificate of Mining Sirdarship, Gas Testing and First Aid

OR Thee years Diploma in Mining Engineering from any recognized board with certificate of Gas Testing and First Aid and One year experience as Post Diploma Trainee.

3. Deputy Surveyor

No. of Vacancies – 09

Stipend – Rs. 20552.37 /- per month

Educational qualification – Matriculation with Survey Certificate of Competency by DGMS.

Age limit for all posts as on 31.05.2012 – Candidates’ age should not between 18 years and 35 years.

Selection procedure – Selection of applicants will be done on the basis of performance in written examination and personal interview.
