Visva Bharati, a central University and an institution of National importance is located at  Santiniketan and Sriniketan in the district of Birbhum about 160 km by Road from Kolkata. Bolpur (Santiniketan) is the nearest railway station of Visva Bharati.

A recruitment notification has been issued by Visva Bharati for filling up the vacant post of Driver for Granthan Vibhaga (Publishing Department Visva Bharati). Job Details of Driver Vacancy in Visva-Bharati

Salary: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- per month.

Qualification: – 8th pass with Valid Driving License for Motor Cars or Heavy vehicles along with working knowledge of Auto Mobile Engine and its Maintenance.

Experience: – Minimum 10 years Motor Car Driving Experience.

Application Fee: – Applicants must pay Rs. 200/- for UR, OBC category candidates and Rs. 50/- for SC,ST category candidates as application fee in the form of Demand Draft Drawn in favor of Accounts Officer, Visva Bharati, Payable at on State Bank of India (SBI) Santiniketan Branch – 2121.

Applicants Age Limitation: – Not more than 35 years.

Job Location: – Granthan Vighaga (Publishing Department) Office, Kolkata

Enclosures: – 12 photocopies of filled in Application, a set of true copies of all supporting documents and two latest passport size color photograph.
