University of Delhi Recruitment for JRF, RA 2012

University of Delhi (DU) Funded by Govt. of India, a Central University located in Delhi is seeking 02 Junior Research Fellow(JRF) and 01 Research Assistant (RA) for the Department of Physics and Astrophysics of the University for a Research Project Sponsored by DST. The Job will be on temporary basis initially for a term of one year and Later on, it can be extended for another one year on the basis of performance of the candidates. Name of Post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Number of Post: 02
Salary: Rs.16000 PM + HRA and other Benefits
Qualifications: Master of Science in Physics or Bachelor of Technology or Equivalent Degree. Those will be proffered who hold NET / GATE or Equivalent Qualifications. Appearing Candidates for Master of Science (Final year) in 2012 are also eligible for this Post

2. Name of Post: Research Associate (RA)

Number of Post: 01
Salary: Rs.22000 PM + HRA and other benefits
Qualifications: Doctorate Degree in Physics Preferably Nuclear and/or Particle Physics. Candidates should have Experience in Dealing with Fast Electronics, Nuclear detectors as well as they should have knowledge of C++, LINIX, etc.
