TNPSC, established in 1929 by the Government of Madras. At that time it was a service commission and in 1957 it became Public Service Commission. Its initial name was Madras Public Service Commission. But, when name of state was changed as Tamil Nadu then it automatically became Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification – Applicants having Bachelor degree in respective discipline can apply for Assistant Conservator.
Physical Standard – Height : 163 cm ( 150 for women ), Chest : 79 – 84 cm ( 74 – 79 cm for women )
Selection procedure – Physical Test , Written test and Oral Test
Examination fee – Rs. 175 ( Rs. 125 – Examination fee and Rs. 50 for Application fee ) through online ( Net Banking, Credit card, Debit card ) and Offline mode ( Post Office and Indian Bank ).
