Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) was established on 20th September 1999 located at Chatha, Jammu. Presently, A recruitment notification has been issued by Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) for filling up the vacant posts of Director Research, Dean F.V.Sc. & A.H., Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Subject Matter Specialist jobs on Temporary basis for a period of two years. Salary: – Rs. 37400-67000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month
Job Mode: – Temporary for a period of five years.
Academic Qualification: – Doctorate Degree in any Branch of Agriculture or Veterinary or Allied Sciences.
Experience: – Minimum 15 years.
02. Dean, F.V.Sc. & A.H.
No. of Vacancies: – 01
Job Mode: – Temporary for a period of five years
Salary: – Rs. 37400-67000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month
Qualification: – Ph.D. in any discipline or Subject of the concerned Faculty
Experience: – Minimum 15 years.
03. Professor/ Chief Scientist
Discipline and No. of Vacancies: – Agricultural Engineering-01 and Biochemistry and Plant Physiology-01.
Total No. of Vacancies: – 02
Salary: – Rs. 37400-67000/- with additional Grade Pay Rs. 10000/- per month
Qualification: – Ph.D in the related discipline from any recognized Institution or University
Experience: – Minimum 12 years
04. Associate Professor or Senior Scientist

05. Assistant Professor or Junior Scientist
Discipline and No. of Vacancies: – Agricultural Statistics-02, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry-01, Plant Pathology-01, Agricultural Engineering-01

Salary: – Rs. 15600-39100/-, AGP Rs. 6000/- per month
Qualification: – Master Degree in related discipline with Ph.D in concerned subject
06. Subject Matter Specialist
Discipline and No. of Vacancies: – Agronomy/ Soil Science – 02, Animal Sciences -02, Agriculture Extension Education – 01, Pathology/ Entomology – 02, Horticulture (Fruit Sciences) – 01.
Total No. of Vacancies: – 08
Salary: – Rs. 15600-39100/- + AGP Rs. 5400/- per month
Qualification: – PG Degree with at least 55% in related discipline and Doctorate Degree in related discipline.
Age Limitation: – Not more than 55 years and not less than 20 years as on 01st January 2012.
