Recruitment at Assam University for the vacancy of JRF and Lab Technician Post
Assam University has published a recruitment notification for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF), and Lab Technician for DBT Funded Project in Department of Bio-technology. No. of Vacancies – Total 03 Post ((Methanogenomics – 01, Nasopharyngeal Cancer -01, Anticancer property of butterfly – 01)
Age limit – Applicant’s maximum age should be not more than 28 years.
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed Post Graduation in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ biochemistry/zoology/ Bio informatics/ from any recognized University.
Desirable – Candidates having laboratory skills on bioiinformatics/molecular biology/ bio informatics working with cancer will be preferred.
Salary - Rs. 12,000/- and 10% HRA (for non NET/GATE) or Rs. 16,000/- and 10% HRA for NET GATE qualified.
2. Name of the Post – Lab Technician (Nasopharyngeal Cancer)
No. of Vacancies – 01 Post.
Age Limit - Candidate should be not more than 30 years of Age.
Educational Qualification – Candidate must be Graduate degree holder in Science or Intermediate pass with science from recognized board or University and experience in Laboratory.Nature of Job – Temporary
Selection Process – Selection will be made on the basis of Interview.
Date of Interview - Tentatively 2nd week of July, 2012.
