Recruitment of Junior Assistants and Stenographer in Assam Police Headquarters : 

An advertisement for the recruitment of Sixty Junior Assistants and Ten Stenographer has been issued by the Assam Police Headquarters and Applications in the published format are invited from the Indian Citizens with all essential documents by 18.05.2012. Recruitment details for the job of Junior Assistant and Stenographer in Assam Police : - 

1. Junior Assistant 

No. of Vacancies – 60

Pay Scale – Rs. 5,200 – 20, 200 /- plus Rs. 2, 200 /- Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Candidates should be passed HSLC Examination from recognized board and should have diploma in type writing / computer.

2. Stenographer 

No. of Vacancies – 10

Pay Scale – Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 plus Rs. 2, 900 Grade Pay per month

Educational qualification – Pass HSLC examination conducted by recognized board and National Trade Certificates. and Stenography in English with speed of 80 wpm.

Age limit – Minimum 18 years and Maximum 38 years as on 01.01.2012. Relaxation in age will be give as per rule of government.

Selection procedure – Written test / Interview will be conducted for the selection.

Application fee – Candidates will have to submit the treasury challan of Rs. 50 /- for General Categories and Rs. 25 /- for SC/ST cateogries.
