Uttarakhand Open University is located in Uttarakhand State that is an integral part of the Indian heritage. The open university provides different types of courses such as under graduate degree, post graduate degree, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate via distance education. So, it requires some professionals for filling up the vacant posts of Professor, Assistant Professor and Assistant Registrar. In this regard, it is inviting applications from eligible candidates latest by 25/05/2012.   2. Assistant Professor – 06 (01-Economics, 02-Education, 01-Jyotish, 01-MSW and 01-Management)
  3. Assistant Registrar – 01
Minimum educational qualification for Professor and Assistant Professor Jobs will be according to UGC norms and for Assistant Registrar post as per the rule of State Government.
Application Fee: Rs. 800/- for General category and Rs. 400/- for SC. Candidates are suggested, they must have to submit their application fee in  the shape of Demand Draft that should be in favour of Uttarakhand Open University payable at SBI Kusumkhera, Haldwani.
How to apply: Neatly and completely filled in application in the prescribed format along with self attested copies of certificates in support of educational qualification and applicable DD must be sent to the University on or before 25th May 2012 by registered or speed post. Candidates must clearly mention the post name on top of the envelope.
