Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), an autonomous organization was established on 01st April 1971 functioned under the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation and now with effect from 12th July 2006 the IITM has been under the administrative control of the specially formed Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). Today this Institution is looking for suitable candidates for filling up the vacant posts of Assistant Engineer jobs on contract basis for a period of one year.
