Recruitment for Semi Skilled Jobs in Indian Ordinance Factory:-

Indian Ordnance Factory is the largest and oldest industrial setup that works under the department of Defence and Production of the ministry of defence. The factory is big producer of defence hardware and equipments. In recent time, it has invited online applications from eligible Indian candidates for filling up the vacant posts of Group ‘C’ / Semi Skilled at Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur. Candidates are suggested, after reading the recruitment details such as educational qualification, age limit, how to apply, selection procedure, pay scale etc. and satisfied themselves with the terms and conditions of the recruitment, must submit their applications only through online process up to 23rd April 2012.

Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200/-
Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit: Age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and not be more than 25 years for Fireman post, 27 years for Store Keeper post and 32 years for all other said posts except Durwan. The candidates having age between 20 to 27 years are eligible for Durwan post.
Essential Educational Qualifications – Candidates must be passed 10th standard examination and having NCTVT certificate in the relevant trade.
Application fee: Rs. 50/- that should be paid in the shape of Demand Draft / Indian Postal Order in favour of General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kalpi Road, Kanpur – 208009. Candidates belong to SC / ST / PH / EXS are exempted from paying the application fee.
How to apply: Firstly the candidates are needed to fill the online application form through the website of Ordnance Factory after then submission of the online application form, must take its hard copy that will be generated by the system. Hard copy of online application along with relevant copies of certificates and applicable DD must be sent to the General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Kanpur (UP), Pin – 208009.
Important points:
  • Candidate’s age will be decided as on 1st January 2012.
  • Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given to the reserved category candidates according to the rules of Government.
  • Those candidates are not ahving NCTVT certificates, then only applicants with ITI or its equivalent Certificate / Diploma holders will be considered.
