Recruitment in Alagappa University for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor Vacancy
Alagappa University was established by Tamil Nadu Government in May 1985 for increasing research, development and dissemination of knowledge. Later on it got recognition by University Grants Commission of India. Currently it is looking some Teaching & Non Teaching faculty. Regarding it, Applications are invited by Alagappa University from the deserving candidates for the post of Professor, Associate Professor , Assistant Professor . Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria are required to apply in prescribed format on or before 03.05.2012. Details are given below: -

02. Principal – 02 – Rs. 37400 – 67000 with Rs. 10000 /- Grade Pay plus Rs. 2000 per month, Master degree with minimum 55% marks and M.Ed. degree with at least 55% marks or Master degree in physical education with minimum 55% marks and Ph.D. in concerned discipline, 15 years
03. Director of Physical Education – 01 – Rs. 37400 – 67000 plus Rs. 10000 /- AGP per month, Master degree with 55% marks and Ph.D. in Physical Education, 15 years
04. Associate Professor – 11 – Rs. 37400 – 67000 with Rs. 9000 /- Grade Pay Master degree with 55% marks and Ph.d. in concerned discipline, 8 years
05. Assistant Professor – 18 – Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Rs. 6000 /- Grade pay, Master degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks and cleared National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC, CSIR
06. Assistant Professor cum Medical Officer – 01 – Rs. 15600 – 39100 and Rs. 6000 /- Grade Pay, MBBS degree with 55% marks and Diploma in Orthopaedics is desirable.
07. Assistant Librarian – 01 - Rs. 15600 – 39100 with Rs. 6000 /- grade pay, Master degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks and qualified National Level Test conducted by UGC.
Application fee – Rs. 500 ( Rs. 300 /- for SC/ST candidates ) by means of Demand draft that should be drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Alagappa University’ payable at Karaikudi.

How to apply: - Applications should be sent in prescribed format having filled in all respects with required details to the Registrar, Alagappa University, Karaikudi by 03.05.2012. Application should be attached with attested copies of certificates of educational qualification, age, experience and demand draft. Candidates have to send eight copies of application ( three copies with complete enclosures and five copies without enclosures ).
