SSC Exam Pattern 2012 Combined Graduate Level / CGL Exam
SSC Eligibility, Selection Procedure and Exam Pattern for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2012:-
Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination for recruitment of Group ‘B’ and ‘C‘ posts such as Assistant, Inspector of Income Tax, Central Excise and Inspector, Statistical Investigator Gr.II, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Accountant / Junior Accountant, Upper Division Clerk / UDC, Compiler and Tax Assistant is conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in every year. In 2012 SSC has published the advertisement for recruitment and fetching applications from eligible candidates. Details of SSC Exam Pattern, Selection Procedure and Eligibility Criteria For CGL-2012 Exam:-
Essential Educational Qualifications: Bachelor Degree with Statistic / Economics / Mathematics as a Elective or Compulsory subject for Compiler Post, Graduation with Statistics as a main subject or Bachelor Degree with Economics / Commerce / Mathematics as a main subject and have Studied Statistics as a paper for Statistical Investigator Grade-II Post and Bachelor Degree in any subject for remaining all Jobs.
Age Limit:
For Statistical Investigator Gr. II – should be not exceeded 26 years of maximum age limit.
For Assistant and Sub Inspector in CBI – minimum 20 years and maximum 27 years.
For remaining posts: Should be between 18 years and 27 years.
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected for the mentioned posts through 03 tiers examination that are as follow:
Tier – I: Objective Type Written Examination.
Tier – II: Objective Type Written Examination.
Tier – III: Computer Proficiency or Skill Test / Interview / Personality Test (wherever applicable).
Exam Pattern / Scheme of Tier – I Examination for all posts:

In this test, questions of part A, B and C will be printed in both Hindi and English language and questions of all parts will be of objective type with multiple choice.

Candidates are informed, paper I and II are compulsory for for all categories Jobs and paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for Statistical Investigators Grade-II and Compiler posts.
Scheme of Tier – III Test:
Interview / Personality Test – Maximum of 100 marks will be carried by the test.
Skill Test – For qualifying the test, candidates must have 2000 key depressions of Data Entry Speed for a duration of 15 minutes.

Merit list will be prepared by the commission on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the written test and interview.
Candidates are informed, there will be negative marking of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer in tier-I & II examinations. So, candidates are advised to keep it in mind during answering.
