Recruitment in BSF for Constable (GD) Vacancy through Open Rally System 2012
An open Recruitment Rally for the Job of Constable (GD) in Boarder Security Force (BSF) is being organized in the state of Jammu and Kashmir in the Pay Scale of Rs.5200 to 20200 + Rs.2000 GP. It will done through Open Rally System and only those Male / Female candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir State will be given chance to participate. The Job is temporary but likely to be permanent. Interested and eligible candidates who want to participate in open rally for the recruitment of constable (GD) in BSF will have to appear for registration of application on 26th and 28th March 2012 at PST & PET Centre in their concerned district. • Male-698 (SC – 52, ST – 86, OBC – 213, UR – 347)
• Female: 08 (UR – 05, OBC – 03)
Eligibility Criteria for Constable (GD):
Age Limit: Minimum age 18 years and Maximum 23 years as on 01/08/2012. Relaxation in upper age limit for SC / ST Candidates is 5 years and for OBC candidates is 3 years
Educational Qualifications: Class 10th Passed from a recognized board
Physical Standard:
• Male: Height: 170 cms, Chest: 80+5
• Female: Height: 157
• Weight: Proportionate to height and as per medical standard
Application Fees: Candidates are required to pay of Rs.50 in the form of Demand Draft / Postal Order in favour of IG FTR HQ BSF Jammu in case of the Candidates belong to Jammu Region and IG FTR HQ BSF Srinagar in case of those candidates who belong to Kashmir, Leh and Kargil Region. SC / ST / EXS Candidates are not required to pay application fees
How to Apply: Those candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria for the post of Constable (GD) in BSF may participate in open recruitment rally in Jammu and Kashmir. For which, Candidates will have appear for registration of application on 26th and 28th March 2012 at PST & PET Centre of Concerned District. At the time of reporting at PST & PET Centre, Candidates must bring duly filled application with passport size photograph affixed on it attested by a Gazetted Officer.
