SSC CR Recruitment for Senior Scientific Assistant-III November 2011

Staff Selection Commission, Central Region, Allahabad invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Senior Scientific Assistant-III in the Directorate of Plant Protection, QS, NH-IV, Faridabad in the pay scale of Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4200 Grade pay for various Govt. Offices under the Jurisdiction of SSC CR, Allahabad. Candidates having required qualifications for the post may apply in prescribed Application format and send their applications to the Regional Director (CR) of SSC. Post Name: Senior Scientific Assistant-III

Vacancy: 08 Posts (UR – 04, ST – 01, OBC – 03)

Pay Scale: Rs.9300 to 34800 + Rs.4200 Grade Pay (PB-2)

Age: Minimum age should be 18 years and Maximum should be 25 years. Relaxation in upper age limit for ST Candidates is 5 years and for OBC Candidates is 3 years. Upper age limit for Govt. Civilian Candidates is 40 years in case of UR and 43 years in case of ST and OBC Candidates

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from a recognized University

Selection Procedure:

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be shortlisted according to their Academic Record, Educational Qualifications and Percentage of marks. Short listed candidates will be invited for Interview and those who qualify in this Interview will be called for Proficiency test. Final Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of performance in interview and Proficiency Test.

Application Fees:

Candidates are required to pay application fees of Rs.50 in the Shape of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS). Candidates who belong to SC / ST / PH / EXS Category and Female Candidate are exempted from application fees.

2. Duly filled application in all respect with copies of supporting documents, CRFS, a latest passport size photograph, one self addressed post card affixed postage stamp of Rs.6, two self addressed envelop of 10*22 cms affixed a postage stamp of Rs.8 on one envelop, must reach the “Regional Director (CR), Staff Selection Commission, 8, A-B, Beli Road, Allahabad – 211002” by the last date 29/11/2011

3. Cover of the application must be super scribed with the words “Application for the Post of….” & Advt. No….”
