Q. What is SNAP Test?

A. SNAP Test stands for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test. This test is the gateway for admissions to the Master Degree in Management and also to non MBA courses to the Institutes of Symbiosis International University. Non MBA courses are Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication (SIMC) – Master of Mass Communication (MMC) and Symbiosis Institute of Geo – informatics (SIG) – M.Sc (Geo – informatics). Students from across the country apply for this examination. The main institute is set up in Pune, India. SNAP is one of the best entrance examinations held in India. The entrance test is held annually at the end of the calendar year. This test welcomes aspirants to be a part of Symbiosis family. There are 17 Symbiosis Institutes which conducts Post Graduate Programmes.

Courses Offered

Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Two Year Full Time Programme which offers specialization in Human Resource, Marketing, Finance and Operations Management.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Graduates with 50% of marks from a recognized University are eligible.
  2. SC / ST applicants have a rebate of 5% of marks in Graduation.
  3. Final year students are also liable.

  3. SC / ST applicants have to ensure that they possess minimum of 45% marks in Graduation.
  4. Applicants who are non engineers must have work experience of one year in Energy / Environment sector can also apply
  5. Final Year students can also apply
  6. Degrees obtained from part time  / correspondence courses are not eligible at SIIB

Q. What is the Examination Pattern of SNAP Test?

 The Examination Pattern of SNAP Test is

1. Time limit for both MBA and Non MBA programs is two hours.

2. The question paper comprises of multiple choice questions.

3. There is a penalty for every wrong answer.

4. 0.25 marks allotted to that question will be deducted from every wrong answer.

5. The Test consists of four sections.
